Dinkar has more than 34 years' experience in Sales, Marketing, Retail & Manufacturing with leading MNC & Indian Groups in India & GCC. He has worked in companies like Blow Plast, Reliance Retail in India and Inchcape Marketing Services, ADMMI, Bahrain Danish Dairy, Tiffany & Khimji Ramdas in the GCC. Dinkar is a also a start up expert and has been involved with Reliance's retail foray in Petroleum and Value Retail, Bialetti Italy's Country Office & Manufacturing Plant set up in India as well the PE funded Neo Milk Products establishment of the B2C operations as their CEO & Director
In this professional journey, Dinkar has realised that there are NO 'Execution Specialists' in the FMCG Sales field and too often companies have to put up with mediocre and unprofitable sales operations due to lack of understanding of the Science of Selling and Sales Execution. Hence he would like to share his passion for the unconventional UnConsultancy approach through his firm Retail Market Movers to be of practical use to Clients who need superlative sales productivity and distribution.
RMM has a very thin back office team since we believe in putting all the resources in at our Clients' premises given our objective of Sales Execution. Other than Dinkar Suri, CEO and an Analyst in the office at the Powai Office, RMM works with Operations Heads located at the Clients' premises.
RMM recruits the necessary personnel and indoctrinates them into the "Execution" mind set before seconding them to a Client's place. These are later absorbed by the Client.
In some cases, the Client, from the beginning, prefers to have the persons on their payroll but managed by RMM.
For specialized work related to setting up Sales Training Programmes, RMM works with other Associates who have specialist knowledge, though routine on the job training is taken care of by RMM as part of their brief. RMM also co-ordinates the setting up and operation of the Sales Academy to assist the Client in regularly upgrading the sales skills.
